Minor Damage and Gaps in Treatment? Recovery is still possible in Virginia.

Car accidents, even minor ones, affect our lives.  People often believe if there is minimal damage to their vehicle and/or they wait to seek treatment after a car accident that they may not be able to recover for their injuries. However, that is not always the case. A woman was recently awarded a $265,000.00 settlement in Culpepper Virginia after she was involved in a rear end collision with minor damage to her vehicle. She refused treatment at the time and there was a 15-month gap between the accident and eventual surgery that was required.  Even with the minor damage and the gap in treatment, the injured party was able to recover a large settlement.

To find out more about this case and how she was able to obtain a settlement with minimal damage and major gaps of time in her treatment please read the entire article at: https://valawyersweekly.com/2019/06/09/woman-suffered-back-injury-in-rear-ender-265000-settlement/
