Veronica L. Allen

Veronica joined Winslow, McCurry & MacCormac in October 2021, and focuses primarily on residential and commercial real estate, estate planning, and other civil matters.  She began her legal career as an associate in Fairfax before moving back to settle in the Richmond area in 2016.  Upon returning, she served as a closing attorney and title counsel for a local mortgage lender.  She then transitioned into the banking sector, where she specialized in commercial lending transactions for an auto dealer finance hub.

Veronica attended University of Maryland for her undergraduate studies, where she double majored in Psychology and Criminology, with departmental honors.  While there, she was a member of the Primannum Honor Society and the Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society.  She then earned her J.D. at the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as a senior staff member on the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest, as well as Community Service Chair of the Animal Law Society.

In her free time, Veronica enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two furbabies, Winston and Champ.  She also enjoys anything music-related, and the occasional round of golf with her husband.
